 Counter Strike

Go for a head-shot, if you can! Use a variety of weapons including the D-eagle and the M4A1. Beware of craftier terrorists who will dodge your attacks and come at you from all angles! Feel the emotions of the warzone simulated. One of the most popular games of this age, Counter-strike is set to get your pulses beating high. Skip a beat and it might just have been your last one on the game battlefield.

Rules

  1. 5 members per team
  2. A game consists of 2 periods, One period as terrorists and the other as counter-terrorists for each team
  3. Each period including 5 rounds and each round lasts 1.75 minutes
  4. The Tournament Organizers reserves the right to cancel or modify the tournament rules

 

General terms

  1. The Half-Life Counter-Strike PC game championship 5×5 (team play, 5 members per team)
  2. Game version – Half-Life Counter-Strike 1.6
  3. The Tournament Organizers reserves the right to cancel or modify the tournament rules if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond reasonable control, impairs the integrity of the tournament

Game Rules

  1. A game consists of 2 periods, each period including 5 rounds. A round lasts 1.75 minutes. One period as terrorists and the other as counter-terrorists for each team.
  2. In the incident of a tie, there will be a tie breaker match
  3. In the tournament, maps are to be chosen by dropping unwanted maps.
  4. A knife-round is used to decide which team plays Counter-Terrorist and which team plays Terrorist. The winner of the knife-round picks their role before the first half of the match. Roles switch in the second half of the match.
  5. If a team is not present on the tournament server at the start of the scheduled time, the other team chooses map and the side (CT or T).
  6. Team members may not communicate (speak) when he or she is “dead” in the game. The only exception is when all team members are eliminated in the game.
  7. Only the team captains are allowed to send public messages (messagemode1 or “y”) during the game. The rest of the players are not allowed to use messagemode1; failure to meet this rule would lead to team penalties. The players can send only team messages (messagemode2 or “u”) during the match.

Permitted console variables and other settings

The players have the right to modify only permitted console variables and game settings. The list of permitted console variables:

  1. adjust_crosshair
  2. Sensitivity
  3. Volume
  4. cl_dynamiccrosshair
  5. cl_minmodels
  6. m_pitch
  7. m_yaw
  8. stopsound
  9. zoom_sensitivity_ratio
  10. Tactical shield use is forbidden.
  11. Weapon bind and team messages are allowed.
  12. Only standard models/skins are used

The accepted game server settings

In cases of disconnections and pc crashes:

  1. Disconnection is any network connection break occurring during the match and caused by system faults, network problems, PC errors or power failure etc.
  2. In case of disconnection in first round while none of players were “killed” round is restart.
  3. In case of disconnection in any other round, game is paused until the last player has connected.
  4. In case of disconnection of two or more players before 6th round game period is restarted; on 7th round or later – game score is recorded and game period is restarted.
  5. In case of an intentional disconnection, the offending team might be announced the loser.

 Cheating and Rule Violation

  1. The Server Admin has the right to disqualify and dismiss any registered player from the tournament, at their discretion, at any stage of the tournament, for any reason, with no prior warning to the player.
  2. Any protests or disagreements with tournament rulings must be made directly to the Server Admin in a reasonable manner at the time of the incident, at which time a prompt decision will be made. The Server Admin’s decisions are final.
  3. Any competitor or team attempting to use ANY exploit in a map shall be immediately disqualified and may be removed from the event.
  4. Any form of cheating, including but not limited to intentional disconnects, ping flooding, server crashing, etc., will result in immediate disqualification of the competitor and/or team.

* The below items are considered as cheating:

  1. Using cheat software;
  2. Intentional disconnection;
  3. Using any settings other than standard and permitted;
  4. Using game map bugs
  5. Using scroll bind for duck.

Registration Fee: Rs. 250/- per team

Juggle, dribble, pass or slide. Get the ball in the post. The most popular sport on the planet and its players or should we say legends in your control! Show us what you got. FIFA 11 on LAN needs no description. So be a part of the excitement, come, register, score and victory shall be thine!

Rules

  • All matches will be played on LAN
  • All matches will be 1 on 1
  • A keyboard/joystick controller and a laptop will be provided to each player
  • Default rules except match duration which will be of 4 minutes and World Class difficulty
  • Players have to play with the default teams and no team customization will be allowed
  • Player can customize the controls as per their needs
  • All the matches will be Knock out. Winner will go in the next round and loser will go out.
  • Once round 2 starts there won’t be any other round 1 matches

Rules

Registration Fee: Rs. 50/- per head

Prizes Worth to be Won: Rs. 3,000/-

  • There would multiple rounds of Elimination – Basic / Advanced / Semi-final / Final
  • Races type would be Sprint, Circuit and Drag
  • The Tournament Organizers reserves the right to cancel or modify the tournament rules

Basic Round:

  1. In this round sprint races will be played
  2. Four participants will be competing in this round
  3. Winner will be advanced to next round

Advance Rounds:

  1. In this round circuit races will be played
  2. Four participants will be competing in this round
  3. This process will be continued until we get top 16 participants.

Semi Finals:

  1. In semifinals there will be 3 races between participants
  2. Four participants will be competing in this round
  3. First will be Sprint, 2nd will be 2 lap circuit, 3rd will be Drag
  4. At the end of each race the participant standing last position will be knocked out and remaining players will race again
  5. Whosoever tops in the last race will go to the next round

Finals:

  1. In finals there will be 5 races between participants
  2. Final four top players will be competing in this round
  3. First will be Sprint, 2nd will be 2 lap circuit, 3rd will be Sprint, 4th will be 3 lap circuit, 5th will be Drag
  4. At the end of each race the participant standing last position will be knocked out and remaining players will race again
  5. Whosoever tops in the last race will be the winner

Registration

Registration Fee: Rs. 50/- per head

Prizes Worth up to be Won: Rs. 2,300/-
